Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings.
- Reconcile credit card statements and manage expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and company policies.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data and generate invoices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Desktop, and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
