Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and prepare audit schedules for external auditors.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
