Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with CPAs for quarterly tax filings and annual audits
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for client scalability
- Oversee payroll processing and compliance with WA state regulations
- Train junior staff on financial software and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation strongly preferred
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Proven ability to meet strict monthly deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
