Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and expense reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven expertise in month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Remote work experience and self-motivation in virtual environments
- Knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory requirements
