Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process payroll for 50+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks
- Prepare financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor relationships
- Oversee sales tax filings for CA operations
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in California
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA preferred)
- BS in Accounting or Finance required
- California payroll certification (CPP) a plus
- Proficiency with accounting software integrations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and CA tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions
