Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state regulations
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and controls
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and client management abilities
