Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Coordinate with tax preparation teams for seamless year-end processes
- Implement internal controls and optimize accounting workflows
- Provide financial insights to support client business decisions
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong understanding of sales tax filing (AZ state)
- Professional certification (CPA, CB) highly valued
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
