Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and profit/loss reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor relationships
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks cloud accounting systems
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX/GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and budget analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Proven track record in multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of Tennessee tax regulations and sales compliance
- Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms (Xero, FreshBooks)
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
