Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow forecasting
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets and profit/loss reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations for Pennsylvania businesses
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for multiple clients
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of Pennsylvania sales tax and payroll regulations
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client reporting and team collaboration
