Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple clients
- Oversee QuickBooks implementation and optimization for new clients
- Coordinate with CPAs during audit processes and tax season
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client decision-making
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial documentation systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Professional certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor, CB) preferred
