Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process payroll for 50+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks
- Prepare financial statements and quarterly reports for diverse industries
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Collaborate with tax preparers for annual filings
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- ADP payroll processing certification preferred
- Proven track record with multi-state sales tax filings
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with construction or healthcare industries a plus
