Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse business clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Pennsylvania tax regulations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks cloud accounting systems
- Coordinate annual tax preparation with CPA partners
- Develop custom financial reports for client decision-making
- Maintain organized digital financial records with audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in PA
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Deep knowledge of Pennsylvania sales tax and payroll regulations
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with error prevention skills
- Strong analytical abilities and client communication skills
