Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage payroll processing for 50+ employees using ADP
- Oversee sales tax filings across multiple states
- Assist in annual audit preparation and documentation
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or EA certification preferred
- Experience with multi-state compliance
- Proven track record of reducing month-end close time
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
