Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with Texas state tax regulations and GAAP standards
- Support audits and financial analysis for client portfolios
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of Texas sales tax regulations
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- CPA or QuickBooks certification highly desirable
