Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing procedures and audits
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Collaborate with tax professionals and external auditors
- Develop financial process improvements for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- CPA certification or enrolled agent status preferred
- Proven experience with multi-client accounting systems
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client consultations
- Knowledge of GAAP and Ohio tax regulations
- Experience with forensic accounting a plus
