Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relations, and ensure timely payments while tracking incoming revenue.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring tax withholdings and deductions are calculated correctly.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage; Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
