Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations by maintaining accurate records.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve cash flow management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
