Responsibilities
- Execute month-end close procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Process payroll and vendor payments with weekend deadlines
- Analyze financial data using QuickBooks and Excel to identify trends
- Prepare weekly financial reports for executive review
- Manage accounts receivable/payable cycles during weekend shifts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Support month-end audits and tax preparation tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of California tax regulations
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) a plus
