Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and reconcile accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes
- Assist with quarterly audits and tax documentation
- Monitor financial controls and compliance standards
- Generate variance reports and budget forecasts
- Collaborate with weekend operations team for seamless handoffs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- CPA certification preferred but not required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 8am-5pm)
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
