Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Process payroll for 15+ employees using ADP systems
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly valued
