Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process payroll for 15+ clients
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance with Washington state regulations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for new clients
- Collaborate with CPA firm during quarterly and annual audits
- Provide financial insights to guide business decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or certified bookkeeper designation preferred
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with construction or retail accounting a plus
