Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and loan balances on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Process payroll accurately and timely for multiple clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries and account status.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or CPA firm.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Experience with Xero or NetSuite is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
