Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel models
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Develop customized financial reports for client stakeholders
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and DC tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
