Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within Net-30 terms
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and P&L reports
- Manage payroll processing for 25+ employees using ADP systems
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation documentation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a corporate setting
- Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and MS Excel (advanced functions)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with error detection capabilities
- Ability to meet strict month-end deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
