Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee bank reconciliations, expense reports, and tax compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Enterprise preferred)
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial forecasting models and budget variance reports
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity companies
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
