Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payments
- Process payroll and associated tax filings for multiple clients
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping and reporting functions
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly and annual audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
