Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll for diverse clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in Dallas market
- Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Expertise in Excel with complex formula development
- Strong understanding of Texas sales tax compliance
- Proven track record with multi-entity accounting
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
