Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for 15+ clients across various industries
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow forecasting
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for new client onboarding
- Conduct internal audits and support external CPA engagements
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices and software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Ohio tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in reconciliations
- Experience managing multi-entity accounting structures
