Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and prepare adjusting entries.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero to maintain general ledgers and track financial data.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and sales tax filings.
- Communicate regularly with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and answer inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain strict attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
