As a key member of our finance team, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting our clients' growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily, monthly, and year-end accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and tax schedules for audits.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track expenses and generate reports.
- Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote-capable hybrid environment.
