Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Process complex payroll and tax filings for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow optimization
- Implement and improve internal accounting controls
- Lead month-end closing processes with tight deadlines
- Provide financial analysis and budget support to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax compliance
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or Xero required
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
