Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor relationships
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 100+ employees
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Enterprise, Xero)
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors and ensure SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in multi-entity environments
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Xero platforms
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven experience with sales tax filings and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
