Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records for diverse clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliation reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor relationships
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Assist with budget preparation and financial analysis
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Professional certification (e.g., CPB) a plus
