Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
- Prepare monthly financial statements for clients
- Assist with sales tax filings and compliance
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Communicate financial insights to business owners
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- No prior bookkeeping experience necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic functions)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Valid Oregon driver's license (for client visits)
- QuickBooks familiarity preferred (training provided)
