Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and monthly financial statements
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries
- Generate financial reports for management and clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Manage QuickBooks software implementation and training
- Collaborate with tax preparation team during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll processing systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in high-volume environments
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) a plus
