Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and month-end closing procedures
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles for 15-20 diverse clients
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) using QuickBooks Online
- Manage sales tax filings and compliance reporting across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven expertise in month-end closing and financial statement preparation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas)
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a strong plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
