Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with strict adherence to deadlines
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis for 15+ client accounts
- Coordinate with CPAs during tax season and provide year-end documentation
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial data integrity and compliance
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documentation
- Train junior bookkeepers on software and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance; Bachelor's preferred
- 4+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and payroll processing
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial reporting track record
- Ability to manage confidential client data with utmost discretion
