Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliations
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow reporting
- Prepare financial statements and client-facing reports
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Collaborate with CPAs on audit preparation and tax planning
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple clients
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- CPA or EA certification preferred
