Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) using QuickBooks Online
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with attention to detail
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Assist with audits and provide financial reports to clients and management
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documents
- Collaborate with CPAs and tax professionals during tax season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proven expertise in payroll processing and tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
