Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist with payroll processing and the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide financial reporting support to management and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax preparation regulations.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
