Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity financial accounts with 99.9% accuracy
- Process complex accounts payable/receivable cycles for 15+ clients
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing for 50+ employees bi-weekly
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for new client onboarding
- Ledger audits and internal control procedure improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll and tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environments
