Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) with attention to detail
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and assist with audits
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and optimize accounting workflows
- Collaborate with CPA firms on tax documentation and compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
