Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online/Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with CA labor regulations
- Coordinate with tax preparers for quarterly/annual filings
- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Maintain organized digital filing systems with audit-ready documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for client consultations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
