Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow analysis
- Process payroll and tax filings for multiple entities
- Oversee bank reconciliations and financial reporting compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows (QuickBooks Online/Xero)
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Expertise in reconciling complex multi-entity accounts
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven experience with payroll processing (ADP/QuickBooks Payroll)
- Exceptional analytical skills with high accuracy in financial reporting
