Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ clients
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and journal entries
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and optimize accounting workflows
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online
- CPA or Associate's degree in Accounting required
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state tax filings
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environment
