Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax preparation and audits
- Develop financial reports to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Experience with sales tax filing and compliance requirements
