Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and ensure GAAP compliance for all client accounts
- Oversee sales tax filings and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement and optimize accounting systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Collaborate with CPA firms during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Proven track record of managing month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of sales tax regulations (AZ, CA, TX)
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to reconcile complex accounts
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
