Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles efficiently
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Manage client relationships through clear financial communication
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct internal audits to verify financial accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (advanced functions)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (AZ)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with competing priorities
