Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely payment processing
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals during compliance reviews
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Enterprise proficiency required)
- Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration for 50+ employees
- Develop financial reports to support strategic decision-making and budgeting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance regulations
- Proven track record of managing complex financial reporting cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies and trends
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
