Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) with variance analysis
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and Washington state tax regulations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online workflows
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax filings
- Train junior accounting staff on financial systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven experience with payroll processing and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- Washington State bookkeeping certification required
